Spotted @ ART Shopping

Last weekend I had shared a handful of goings on in Paris, and I must say we took full advantage of the agenda and sunny weather. Here is my pic of newly discovered artists. Hope you enjoy!

Enjoy!

ART SHOPPING

Laurent Durrey: collects and shreds posters, ads, magazine pages to recompose fragments of memories from a trip or one of his favorite 50/60s moments.

Olivier Pinchart-Deny: I had mentioned this talented photographer earlier this month, and here he was again, with shots around the globe this time.

Elizabeth Minssen: influenced by pop art, American and German expressionism, she paints isolated objects taken out of their context to give them new life. Her themes are related to women – fashion – beauty, and she uses references from designers to create a dialogue between art and fashion. Loved the dress painted in Ferrari black!

Werner Edebau: figurative painter who combines his interest in surrealism with strong colors and contrasts of light/shadow in an attempt “to make the impossible, possible on Canvas”.

Patrick Rubinstein : he started as an adolescent by creating portraits and images which he cut into trimmings. He divides and glues them on a support which enables him to create two scenes at once: Kinetic Art. Love the Paris-New York in a blink!

Fred Goudon: after his studies in journalism in France, stunt as a radio DJ then press photographer, he heads to Los Angeles as a correspondent for the press – where he started shooting male models (clothing optional). What caught my eye? NY again and again. Uncurable I’m afraid!
